A few words about our world

ISRAEL

In our domestic market, in concert with Ilex Medical Ltd., Orsyx has maintained its position at the leading edge of clinical laboratory technology for many years. Installations in major health centers such as Asaf HaRofeh, Sha'arei Zedek and all the laboratories of the Meuhedet Health Fund provide the backbone of our larger sites. Medium-sized hospitals such as the Scottish Mission Hospital and Laniado form the mid-range capacity labs. A large group of more focused laboratories depend upon ILIMS as their information management solution. These include the National Blood Bank Hepatitis laboratory, all the Government HIV labs, and many other smaller institutions.

Through an enduring relationship of friendly co-operation with our customers, we are able to field-test all our improvements, ensuring that our export market receives well field-tested, robust and esthetically acceptable upgrades.

UK

Orsyx has been successfully installing ILIMS in the UK since its first introduction to the international market. Partnering with Instrumentation Laboratory (UK) Ltd, based in Warrington, ILIMS initially found its place as an added-value data processor for single chemistry analyzers. However, with experience and encouragement from a highly satisfied and enthusiastic customer base, IL now markets ILIMS as a full solution for pathology laboratory information services. The ILIMS UK installed base now exceeds over 110 sites in hospital, private, industry and veterinary clinical pathology laboratories. Small, medium and large installations exist from the north of Scotland to the far south west, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Reflecting its strength in the rapid production of competent and robust communication drivers,   

ILIMS connects to dozens of different instruments from all manufactures and a wide range of hospital host systems. IL's sales and service show strong commitment to continuous improvement of its high standards with a dedicated team of IT specialists, help desk and support for user meetings.
For the first time, in 2004 IL UK Ltd will be directly addressing the microbiology market. They will, of course, be accompanied by well-configured ILIMS.

 

RUSSIA

We have been fortunate in teaming up with two partners in Russia. Orsyx brings to the Russian market not only its own in-house CLIMS knowledge and experience, but also graduate and post-graduate service staff whose mother-tongue is Russian. 

Together with the Across Engineering, Moscow, we have installed ILIMS in the 1st Republican Hospital, Yakutsk, Siberia. In this ultra-modern well-equipped hospital, ILIMS serves all path labs including Chemistry, Immunology, Serology, Coagulation, Hematology, Stat lab and Microbiology. The system has proven robust, and despite the remoteness of the region and the severe weather conditions, our joint service has maintained the ILIMS with near zero down-time.

In concert with our partner Galen, of Moscow, we have installed ILIMS in the Moscow region Diagnostic Clinic No. 1. DC1 had previous experience of ILIMS as a single station. Based on its solid reputation for functionality, robust performance and effective contribution to the work of the laboratory, the system has recently been expanded to a multi-station, client server network. The added functionality has enabled the laboratory to substantially modernise the entire management of the laboratory. Following this success, installation of a similar system will begin shortly at Diagnostic Clinic No. 5.

Galen have demonstrated considerable enthusiasm for the Orsyx product line, giving it a major exposure on their stand at the 2003 Moscow Medical Diagostics exhibition. This has been followed up by by a considerable investment in manpower training. A full team of sales and applications support engineers have been sent for advanced training at our service center in Rosh Ha'Ayin.
