Lab2Lab is a free standing application that manages sample shipment between any number of referral and service laboratories. It integrates seamlessly with any set of legacy laboratory and hospital information management systems.

Samples are assigned to shipments, either automatically or manually, with full documentation of sample numbering, analysis status, location and timing. Full sample tracking information is available at all times, including return notification of reception.

Orders created at any site can be sent to preferred referral laboratories, or to alternate sites as circumstances dictate.

Audit reports include rejection due to inappropriate sample type, breakages, missing samples, insufficient volumes, unreadable barcodes and unregistered contents.

Return samples, with partial or complete analysis according to circumstance, are tracked. The module also provides statistical summaries of sample transfers.

Lab2Lab is designed to be modified to accept addiditional functionality according to individual customer requirements.
